Red Cross APRC thingy

so ya. after so long being tired, i decided i'd post this up. yay

spent the whole of this wk, from monday to thurs at grand copthorne doing plenary for asia pacific conference. since i'm more or less dead, i shall do day 1 n 2 today, n do 3 n 4 tomorrow. yay! ^^

DAY 1:

get to grand copthorne. met the gang of ppl who r doing with me n our overall IC, stephen. yay! haha. ok la. mixed bunch mostly. me n indra from Rj, stella n cheaun fong from Nj, then Shayhid *sth lidat i think* n rina from Ij. ok. yay. but first day was a killer, got there at 730am, then move stuff in btn sesisons, stand up the whole time. yup. quite tiring. all of the peeps quite nice la. at that time. lol. as in tt's what i tot at tt time. lolz

had lunch there, some weird stuff. only rmb a lot of vegetables. oh ya. n got mushroom potato gratin. so ok la. quite nice. oh wellz. but only a bit of food left, n since i'm primarily a carnivore, so yup. i juz ate the meat, n the potato mushroom gratin. what was left of it at least. hahaz. then ya. the delegates have morning tea, break (i call it recess), lunch, tea, and then dinner. lolll. all got quite a lotta food. except for morning tea, cos they usually juz had breakfast juz b4, so ya. so yup. ate quite a bit since we can join in for everything except for lunch. n i drank a hell lotta tea. n coffeee... LOL

dun really rmb much of the other meals, juz that they were mostly nice. haha

then at like 530, went home. after my first plenary session. got to know malcolm. *think tt's how his name is spelt... haha* he's some guy who's doing part time for the company which is doing this function. so gd la. haha. talk quite a bit of rubbish with him n indra. haha. so yay

OH RIGHT!!! wait. fun stuff happened in the plenary room. that's their small group session. was in charge of this room called galleria. it was like damn full. n the delegates kept spilling water, cos the distance btn rows was a bit small, so when they move, then their asses sometimes walk into the jugs. so ya. oops. they did it twice. LOL

ok. next day. DAY 2:

went to the place. again. this time at 8am. haha. started in the big ballroom again, and then yup. stuff happened. had 2 sessions in the plenary again. lolz... so yup. but this time, cannot be outside, so have to b inside all the time. this was after tea. yup. so lemme see... one after break, then one after afternoon tea. lol. oh wait. the first main session. man. that guy is gd. he was talking abt viruses and stuff lidat, n he did in until i cld understand it. i mean, ya i supposed to b able to understand cos he take bio, but as in he said it very simply. man he's gd. some jap doctor i think. haha

the one immediately after break was quite bad, cos it was like they all had a lotta ppl. indra became assistant repretoire, since they din have one. then i bcam mouse clicker, cos i told prof goh that i cldn't type fast enof, which is more or less the truth. he ended up writing in the end, so too bad. haha. besides, dun wanna spoil other ppl's laptop la. wah lau. i type damn violently when i type fast. so ya. quite scary. sometimes at least. my parents always say i damn vicious with the laptop. haha. then after that, they all want a wireless mike, so i have to go n get for them. then this that, end up running all arnd passing them the mike. but at least they got acknowledge my effort. so quite ok i guess. haha

then i stayed with indra while they sorted out the stuff. then erm. went out to macs for lunch. cos they all say no more provision of food, so have to go out to eat lor. haha. so yup. food food, then bought back to eat, cos not enof time mah. haha. then the 2nd session. wah i really suay man. when i arnd so much stuff happen. when not arnd, nth happen at all... lol. so ya. then erm. do stuff do stuff. then indra n i left quite early to go support girls for floorball. so ya.

went to UWC. girls team only got 8 players. omg. so few. haha. so we allowed to play. then we all there. UWC girls r damn scary man. esp the ang mohs. they play like guys lidat. we all allowed to field 1 guy on field with 4 girls. then they all like tackle like guys, push n everything. if a guy, n i got the ball, i juz push back, let him go n die. fall down, break his arm whatever, i dun care. budden girl leh. dun dare. anyway was on for only a while. budden everytime got a guy, they all like despo or sth. at least 3 girls go for the guy one. then the girls also seriously sometimes a bit nervous. a bit cannot make it, so we lost like madly bad. 8 - 2 i think. lol oh ya. indra's pinkie got wacked manly badly. n he was playing goalie. haha. LOL. like how is that supposed to happen, since ur not supposed to snatch the ball from the goalie... but whatever man. haha

so ya. after that, sat down n talked, then went back to dover MRT then left from there, n went home to slp. so yup

no picts for first 2 days yet. will put them up another day. yay! at least day 4. cos i only brought my camera then. hahaz
